Thinking you smell something when it could be something else or nothing at all.

I said "it smells like freshly baked bread"
Mary commented "I think you are just hungry"
I replied "Are you saying I am having a smellusion?"

Bob, did you fart again?!
No. I think you are having a smellusion.

A shared delusion, typically by followers of a leader who has deluded ideas they fully accepted as their own.

The podcast had no listeners and was a rambling boring mess with occasional vulgarities, but the shallusion continued because they didn't want to believe they had to work on their careers.

1-To smell something that is not there.
2-To smell a smell that's not currently present.
3-Hallucination of the olfactory (smelling) senses.

(combination of smell + hallucinate)

Tweeker: "Dude, do you have Funions
