Naptural 

Naptural/Napptural is a combination of the word nappy and natural.

It can be used to describe a lifestyle of a person of African descent and/or their hair in it's unaltered state by not putting chemicals (relaxers, perms, texturizers, dye) or heat applications (hot combs, flat irons, curling irons) in or on their hair to change the texture and/or color of their hair.

People of African descent describe their hair as kinky, coily and curly.

There is much debate about whether the word naptural means 100% unaltered hair or not.

Many napturals color their hair with commercial dyes and still consider themselves naptural, which is accepted within the naptural community.

Many napturals also use henna, which is a flowering plant used as a natural, permanent dye to color hair.

I decided to start my naptural hair journey and am no longer relaxing my hair.

Snaptrap 

n., v.

When one sends a Snapchat photo to someone that they have recently contacted through text, Facebook message, twitter DM, etc. but not received a reply, with the intention of seeing if the receiver is in fact, ignoring or avoiding them as any snaps sent have a status indicator of whether the person has received or opened the aforementioned snap. If the snap was opened, the sender knows s/he is on his phone, fully capable of replying.

This can also be done to see if the person is actively on their phone BEFORE contacting them through text, Facebook etc.

This simple tactic is usually used by smart(crazy) girlfriends who are concerned about their boyfriends whereabouts or what he is doing and want to trap him with a snapchat, invalidating any excuse such as "my phone died, my phone was off, I wasn't using my phone" etc.

I told my girlfriend I was busy and couldn't use my phone but i really was at home with the side bitch. She texted me 3 times anyway to which i didn't reply then she sent me a Snaptrap. I opened it by accident and she immediately called me and asked what I was really doing.

Snapture 

A concept from the Avengers comic/movie franchise, where if Thanos (the Malthusian monster who opposes the Avengers) obtains a collection of six MacGuffins (called "Infinity Stones"), he can snap his fingers to cause a randomly selected half of all life to spontaneously disappear. The word is a portmanteau of "snap" (as in, snapping one's fingers) and "Rapture" (meaning the purported Christian end times predicted in the Book of Revelations).

Earth's mightiest heroes must assemble once again to prevent Lord Thanos from bringing on the Snapture.

Naptural Glory

A term used to describe the beauty of a Black African descent person who has made a decision to not artificially change the texture and or color of their hair. Whether it be by chemical processes such as perming or other processes such as hot combing.

Nappy, curly, kinky hair that appears predominantly in women and men of African descent.

A combination of the words nappy or nap and natural. Nap-tural Glory.

There was an actual website that was named naptural glory, but for some reason the site can not be found currently. It was this site where I believe the term was first coined.

Apparently naptural can be spelled two ways.

Napptural or Naptural. Either way appears to be accepted by many.

Oh wow, she stopped perming her hair years ago. Now she is basking in her naptural glory
