If you can't bare the possible outcomes of your choices then don't dare in the first place.

When "jiteshr (a random stranger on chess.com) lost in chess to me, despite having an advantageous position and me giving him the opportunity to draw he still decided to continue playing and he had a lead of 21 points and 7 minutes and I had 2 minutes but he still lost in the end to time.
