An embarrasing or akward situation with a negative outcome. Anything that goes wrong or makes someone look stupid.

Saying a joke that you think is really funny and laughing while everyone around stays in complete silence. Mate who witnessed it says 'that was a shotters'

An exclamation or interjection. Used when taking a chance with a low risk but a high reward. Often an encouragement before making a proposition to the other sex. Can be used to dismiss a failed advance.

Hunter: Bro, you have to ask her to go with you to the date function, she is so hot!
Nico: But what if she says no?
Hunter: Shooters Shoot! Just do it!

or

Hunter: Did you ask her to the date function?
Nico: Yeah, but she said that she has an 8am class.
Hunter: But it is on a Friday night...? Oh well, Shooters Shoot!
