Comes from the names Sa’id, Sayid etc. and means blessed or happy. It is usually used as an african last name and derives from Arabic so is used in Muslim households. Can be used as first names also.

The Japanese word for voice actor/actress, used in Western slang to refer to Japanese voice actors (actresses), mainly in anime. Some are very famous for their work.

Kaneto Shiozawa was the seiyuu who played Dai in Highschool! Kimengumi, as well as the first seiyuu of Clavis in Angelique.
