Operation Shutdown

to basically quit working while still remaining at work because you don't agree with the way things are being handled or just because you don't care anymore. Staying on break permanently due to protest without actually going on strike.
Josh: Dude, why are you just sitting there playing Tetris on your computer when you're supposed to be working.
Paul: Because Mike told me to do something I don't want to do. I am commencing Operation Shutdown.

What congress does when it wants more attention.
Yet another government shutdown just so congress can get the news channels to pay attention to them.

When a human being or creature is in a state of nothingness. The individual has lost all train of thought and is completely useless. A victim of shutdown cannot think, has no motor skills, appearing to be much like a pilon. Shutdown is often caused after a day of vigorous activity, or simply from being lazy.
After spending the previous five hours stroking his male unit, Mark went into shutdown.

shutupskiddie

It means “Shut Up Skiddie.”

This means someone is a skid and should shut up (aka script kiddie). They are bratty kids that get enraged over the internet. To express their anger they normally become shitty “hackers.” By “hacking,” it actually means copying scripts from the internet to try to hit people offline. Most of the time, they will beg others for help because skids don’t know anything about running scripts. In the end they get hacked because they downloaded viruses. They generally commit suicide within a year of becoming a skid.
“I’m an edgy smart hacker that can fry your router.” - Skid

Back when I lived in upstate new york

A meaningless, unimpressive, self-serving introduction. An indicator that the story about to be shared will be pointless and dumb.
Back when I lived in upstate new york, I also had to park on the street - on two occasions, we got enough snow, mixed with just the right plowing, that my car was lifted off the ground from so much snow being jammed underneath it.

Sister: This meeting was to discuss the rough draft of my essay, where we discussed the subsidiary questions I added in my rough draft. We also discussed the relationship between my main title and the real-life situations I chose to use in my essay. We discussed the structure of my essay as well, specifically the Math AOK section and how it relates to the contradiction of the title. This second meeting was particularly helpful in discussing the implications of my essay claims and how to apply the title across various areas of knowledge. There were many sections of the essay that could have been cut down in wordiness and the ways of knowing required further and more in-depth analysis.
