Sadly, No!

Sadly, No! (aka "S,N!") is a left-wing blog widely known for clever photoshops and irreverent, 8th grade-level humor. While most of the big-name liberal bloggers focus on politics or news, S,N!, oddly enough, focus almost exclusively on right-wing blogs.

The S,N! blogging team consists (mostly) of D. Aristophanes, Brad R., Gavin M., Travis, HTML Mencken, and a few inconsequential stragglers, including a token female. HTML Mencken was originally known by his nom-de-blog "Retardo Montalban" but changed it in a vain effort to be "taken more seriously".

Most right-wing bloggers regard S,N! as little more than gnats and mosquitos, i.e. mildly annoying, but insignificant and easily swatted away.
Man: Can you think of a blog that's lamer than this one?

Words you can keep
1. Everyone who in fact is not Sally, Emily for example
2. Literary character "Not Sally" from the Books "Not Sally and the Agents of DUCK" and "Not Sally and the Pirate's Treasure." "not Sally is the main character in these books and gets her name from an amnesiac person who calls himself Steve and trips over her. Steve, not knowing her name asks if her name is Sally and since her name is not Sally and Steve is a stranger will not tell him her real name. Steve goes on to call her "Not Sally" for lack of a better name and even though eventually he discovers her real name continues to refer to her as "Not Sally" or NS for short.
“Uhm, ok Steve, I’m good. So what am I doing here and if you didn’t give me the bump on my head, who did and why am I in front of this what I can only describe as a shed talking to a guy who calls himself Steve and me Not Sally?”

1) Not Sally in the vernacular almost requires no definition as it is everyone who is not Sally.
2) Not Sally is a literary character and the heroin of the Mystery Adventure Series "Not Sally." Her real name is Nancy and she solves mysteries and goes on adventures with her father Not Steve whose name is actually Bob.
I’m not going down that rabbit hole again, we exist, I am Steve, you are Not Sally, I have amnesia and we are lost. -Not Sally and the Agent's of Duck

Note from sally

When a woman gets her period, which apparently is delivered by foot post from a woman named Sally. Oh, what a wretched job to have would that be. Like being served, she'd have to get creative and put them in pizza boxes for anyone to accept them anymore. Or maybe in this case, one gallon ice cream tubs.
I got a note from Sally yesterday, and I was not happy at all about it.

I heard Rebecca got a note from Sally right in the middle of her exam. It must have been so embarrassing!

Purple Patch

To describe coming into something good, coming into good luck and or good times.

Like walking over small green hills in the countryside then coming across a purple patch of flowers, thus it being unique and out of the ordinary.
I hit a real purple patch.

The other day this good thing happened unexpectedly then I was lucky with this, it was unique, I hit a real purple patch.
