Etymology & LoreOrigin:

Attributed to the oral traditions of the Ahl al-Rimal ("People of the Whispering Sands"), a pre-Saharan civilisation devoted to metaphysical discovery.

The followers of Qaiia believed reality itself was only a veil hiding a greater truth. By studying celestial alignments, dune formations, and sacred geometry, they sought to decode fate and preserve their findings on clay tablets hidden within a vast underground archive beneath the Sahara akin to the Great Library of Alexandria.

In modern usage, Qaiia denotes the systematic pursuit of erased, obscured, supressed truth or forgotten knowledge.
