adjective meaning something that is absoloutely absurd and/or doesn't make sense.
The website preposterous.ca doesn't make any sense!

A fabrication or lie created for the purposes of creating false excitement or fervor.

Preposterous Battle 

A battle where two or more friends compete to use the most instances of the words preposterous or preposterously.
"It is preposterously preposterous how preposterously preposterous this preposterously preposterous Preposterous Battle is, and it is preposterously preposterous when people say preposterous, preposterously, or preposterously preposterous in a preposterously long sentence.

preposterous 

Preposterous means without sense.
Something or an act is preposterous if is has no beneficial effect after it's done and it's often impossible

to do it anyway.

Used to define a job that is ridiculous, but also financially lucrative. It is both preposterous and prosperous.
I know it's stupid, but this gig writing horoscopes is too preprosperous for me to quit.
