Gold being a wadd of cash wrapped in a rubber band and a pager is simply a pager. Term mostly used by drug dealers.

Pager Palsy
A term used to describe the state of mind of a new fireman when his station receives a call and he gets extremely excited and flustered.
In the case of some new firefighters, when the pager alerts the station for a call, they forget how to do everything. Firefighters who might know their job completely loose their mind when and are completely ineffective at anything.

When you want to itch your business, most people probably listen half or won’t listen to you at all. Presenting yourself with a bulk of the paper is not going to work in the 21st century. Back in the 90's when pagers were made available to a younger generation, a code was created where numbers were assigned to represent letters so that messages could be passed using this code.
Each letter was represented using a number or combination of numbers. Some number definitions varied but this is just one basic breakdown:
A = 8
B = 8
C = 6
D = 0
E = 3
F = 4
G = 6
H = 4
I = 1
J = 7
K = 15
L = 7
M = 177
N = 17
O = 0
P = 9
Q = 0
R = 12

T = 7

Boffin
British slang for a scientist or technical expert, esp . when the speaker is not certain of the expert’s specific field of study. Not necessarily derogatory, but typically used by persons without a technical background. In the US, the equivalent would be “egghead”, “squint”, or “geek.”
Origin of the word is unknown. Started sometime in World War 2. Given the typical evolution of British slang, could easily have started because what these experts did was confusing or “baffling” to the common person.

Pee Calculus
When you have to pee in a movie but don’t want to miss anything, and must do the following mental equation: will the amount I have to pee cause enough discomfort to diminish my attention capacity for the remainder of the movie to an extent which is greater than the amount of the movie I would miss by making a mad dash to the restroom.
