Every major leaguer who grew up in San Diego wanting to be a Padres player comes back to haunt you with a game-winning walk-off hit.

In 2023 the baseball team in San Diego was favored to win the World Series decided that Padresing would be the way to go by not making the playoffs or having a winning record, despite the 250 million dollar payroll.
