Geo Prizm

A compact sedan produced in a joint venture between General Motors and Toyota, and sold through Chevrolet-Geo dealerships throughout North America from 1990-2002. The Prizm is comprised of mostly Toyota parts, sharing the same engine and drivetrain components as Toyota's Corolla, however the exterior and interior were given distinct styling cues to make it resemble Chevrolet's other passenger cars of the time.

The Geo Prizm and Toyota Corolla look almost alike.

Prizm

A tank-like vehicle made by Geo, with approximatly 100hp. It is an unstopable vehicle that can conquer snowbanks, huge bumps and very muddy hills.. this car is Indestructable.

Often refferred to as Prizmas Maxiums, or Priz-omb, or the Priz-omb I presume.

Chevrolet Prizm

A car otherwise seen as a Toyota Corolla, but with Chevrolet's bowtie badge on it. Prizms, made by Toyota for Chevrolet, were no longer produced after the year of 2002. The car is entirely made by Toyota except for some minor interior design done by Chevrolet. 2002 Toyota Corollas and Chevy Prizms are equipped with a 4-cylinder, approximetly 125 Hp, 16 Valve VVT-i engine. A Varible Valve Timing Intelligent engine, seen in some of today's newer and more popular vehicles.

I myself own a Chevrolet Prizm, and yes I get a lot of crap from my friends for owning a "notta real Chevy" but it is a very reliable car. And I give Chevy credit because they noticed that Toyota had a reliable car (Corolla) that they could put their name on and sell for less. But for a Corolla my car really boots for what it is, and I've raced cars in my own class and have come out the winner. Chevy Prizms are not bad cars.

Prizm

Short def: a better-looking Toyota Corolla with a ghetto stereo and even ghettoer resale value.

Long def: A great little econobox that was underrated because of its association with lame Geos like the Metro (no relation). Like the Chevy Nova it replaced, the Prizm was a 99% copy of the Corolla, built by the same people at the same plant. Went through three generations (89-92 and 93-97 as a Geo, 98-02 as a Chevy) before being replaced by the Pontiac Vibe.

Drives nice, rides nice, has good power (with 1.8L engine), scores 30 MPG, and might outlive you.

No one knows WTF a Prizm is, so I picked up a used one for $2,000 less than a Corolla. Ignorance is bliss.
