Word on Bird

A phrase said when some says "say word." Used in Australian schools by teenagers who aren't trying to be american like the rest of the world and not too aussie (as they don't wanna say 'oath' or something).
Since 'word' can also mean swear, bird is often used, as the rhyme produces a good ring and allows for versatile use for those who don't want to endanger their mum's life.

Esh: Ay nah. Say word.
Cuz: Word on Bird

Cuz: Yo guess what. I got some echay jorts.
Esh: Say woooord c*nt
Cuz: Word on BIRD lad

Cuz: I broke outta school
Esh: Say MUM'S cuhh!
Cuz: ay nah WORD on BIRD

Phrase exclaimed when placing an image of an avian creature on any item, especially one that was "handcrafted" or "thrifted" so as to make it totally adorable and artistic. It's, like, soooooooo cute! Whether it's a necklace or a t-shirt or an iPad cover or a corset, it could probably use a bird on it.

a term that describes the state you get into when you're on a long transcontinental flight and the airline stewardesses provide alcoholic beverages. Getting blitzed while you're flying several thousand feet high is a unique, strange experience that's much different from getting plastered on the ground.

Me and Del were on a flight to Seattle and we got blitzed on the bird.
