Network Performance Research Lab. Located at Cal Poly State University dedicated to further research in computer network performance. NetPRL is a joint lab between the Computer Science, Computer Enginnering and Electrical Engineering programs. The lab is currently used by eleven graduate and undergraduate students working on their masters thesis or senior project.

1: Posts on internet forums that make many cover their face with their palms after reading them.

2: Comments made on forums that engender a lot of replies which feature characters from Startrek with their face buried in their palms.

Man, that harrypothesis about Apes becoming bipedal due to wading in water has sure produced a lot of netpalms.

Netpal 

Penpal for the digital age.
Two people have only met through online platforms such as discussion forums, online dating platforms, etc
But frequently chat and relate as long time friends.

A person with whom one becomes friendly by exchanging messages by instant message, email, or other digital mediums. Especially someone in a foreign country whom one has never met.

Person 1: I'm chatting with so-and-so and discussing subject A.
Person 2: Oh, who's "so-and-so"?
Person 1: That's my netpal, I met him/her online...

Netplaying 

It’s what you do at a networking event to have fun, since they can be so boring. Fuck the hi, what do you do or what company do you work for, how about, what enjoyment do you bring to my life and why the hell aren’t we friends? 3 cocktail minimum, let’s do some business and hopefully our clothes stay on.

I have turned my networking experiences into netplaying because it is so much more fun. I had to Uber home but when I woke up next to Jenny from the block, it was so worth it. I’m sure we will do business for many more days to come.
