This is a kick-ass woman whose name most of the people get wrong the first time around. She has a collection of all the wrong names people wrote when sending her work emails, even though the name is clearly written in the address. She is a bit nervous (true to her name), outgoing and outspoken, a bit crazy in a good way & “has balls” (quoting here many other people in various situations). She is a loyal and a good friend, can be a head-ache if you step on her toes - so you better not do that & a natural “fighter” (don’t read this too literally). She’s been through a lot of shit in her life & still stands tall.

Nervesa is the best.

Nervosa 

Nervosa has no real definition in the English language. In Latin, it means "nervous".

For contextual purposes, it means "the psychological addiction to a behavior, belief, or habit" that effects the body via the nervous system, or the mind.

It is also a word commonly used in reference to botany. Nervosa, when used in botany, describes a trunk or tree like pattern of veins within the leaves.

Tessorexia Nervosa 

A person suffering from Atypical Anorexia (AAN) must show body dissatisfaction, intentional restrictive behavior, and fear of gaining weight while maintaining a BMI of <18.5 and typically fall within the normal to the overweight range.

HAES-supportive nutritionists, wellness advisors, and other non-physicians from within the industry have bastardized the diagnosis of AAN while attempting to free their clients from “diet culture” and encouraging those to eat “what you want, whenever you want”. This trend harms the person by not acknowledging the self-destructive behaviour inherent in bingeing and using food for pleasure. Many consider this a misclassification of Eating Disorders, primarily Binge-Eating Disorder (BED), in an attempt to separate themselves from the stigma and shame related to gluttony and overindulgence. Unfortunately, this is at the expense of those who truly suffer from AAN since they are already underrepresented in medical literature and considered not severe enough for treatment.

Recently, Tess Holliday declared she was diagnosed with Anorexia at around 350lbs. In contrast to her claims, her social media features a plentitude of sweets, cakes, and takeout consumed on a weekly basis without shame. Such a false diagnosis of Atypical Anorexia is coined as Tessorexia Nervosa. Often individuals who are suffering from Tessorexia claim to be in recovery from Anorexia and any attempt to modify their diet would trigger a relapse causing them to waste away.

I suffer from Tessorexia Nervosa! I’m in recovery from Anorexia! Don’t talk to me about my diet or I’ll starve myself again and it will be your fault!

Imagine The Nerves 

"Imagine the nerves" is a quote from the Twitch streamer and YouTuber Acai. It is his most famous quote, and was created when Acai had difficulty FC-ing Soulless 4. This also affiliated Machinations A, Breaker Solo and Stepping Solo A and B as Clone Hero memes; often changing a song gradually into these sections. These songs would trick Acai into playing them, and the joke repeats. As of now, the quote is dead as Acai recently FC'd Soulless 4.

Todd was in deep denial concerning his audiophilia nervosa, and his wife was on the verge of calling a divorce lawyer.

Anorexia Nervosa 

Anorexia Nervosa (AN) essentially refers to a mental illness affecting both genders, but primarily females, whereby an individual has irregular perceptions of their body image. This causes them to develop extreme trepidation at the prospect of weight gain, dieting, starving themself, frequent exercise and calorie counting which subsequentally gives them what is known as emaciation. It requires inordinate amounts of mental and physical concentration and efforts if one wishes to conquer it, although they never really "conquer" it as it is still in them somewhere. Similarly, people with this eating disorder tend to have a very low body mass index (bmi), usually 16 or lower to the point where they may need a feeding tube. If it gets to the point where it gets below fifteen, without serious treatment, the patient will die, at least it is very feasible!

My friend is suffering from the eating disorder, Anorexia Nervosa.
