n (obviously Irish school slang of the 1910s): staying away from school without permission, playing hookey, playing truant.Eg.: We often planned a miching for the whole day if we did not want to do our preparations for the classes.

mulching

A sexual act between two lesbians. One lesbian, typically the dominant one in the relationship, proceeds to defecate on the vagina of the other lesbian. The two then proceed to scissor, smearing the fecal matter over both of their vaginas. Oftentimes the two lesbians will not shave their pubic hair for a few weeks prior, building up a bush to place the "mulch" around.

Carrie and Amanda were so busy mulching that they didn't hear the doorbell ringing.

Mitching

Verb.
To loiter, lollygag, procrastinate, or behaving in a lackadaisical fashion in an attempt to avoid a previously set obligation, especially under the pretense of dealing with a ‘technical issue’(computer meltdown, glitch, virus, etc.) that would hinder participation in the aforementioned activity.

“Sally says she is getting her computer fixed during class today, but I think she’s just mitching.”
“Danny totally mitched out on that typing exam, I saw him hanging around the mall when he said he had to get his keyboard rewired.”
“I would love to mitch today, but I already said that my virus was taken care of and I can’t think of a better excuse.”
