Words you can keep
The Babbitt of the new century. Young and well educated small families who promote an eco-ideology.

You can usually find them in the shiny quarters of New York, London or Berlin. They promote ethics of natural food and low co2, which are whether affordable nor desireable towards joesixpack.

LOHAS are self-righteous. While eating sophisticated organic stuff, they still fly around the world and inhabit vast mansions.
Their default revolutionary tactic is the carrotmob.

The straight opposite of the phoney LOHAS are the humble LOVOS.
Damn Lohas! All good vegs are sold out again.

A frequently modified mammal, known primarily for its blind idolatry, and an uncanny ability to age rapidly in foreign fashion shows and club settings. Cited as the current chief export (minors) of the Lohan family; like its elderly predecessor, Lindsay, what it lacks in talent, it makes up for in ambition.
"Should Child Protective Services be notified when 15-year-old Ali Lohan goes to bars and nightclubs ?"

"I don't know, she looks 45."

Back when I lived in upstate new york

A meaningless, unimpressive, self-serving introduction. An indicator that the story about to be shared will be pointless and dumb.
Back when I lived in upstate new york, I also had to park on the street - on two occasions, we got enough snow, mixed with just the right plowing, that my car was lifted off the ground from so much snow being jammed underneath it.

Sister: This meeting was to discuss the rough draft of my essay, where we discussed the subsidiary questions I added in my rough draft. We also discussed the relationship between my main title and the real-life situations I chose to use in my essay. We discussed the structure of my essay as well, specifically the Math AOK section and how it relates to the contradiction of the title. This second meeting was particularly helpful in discussing the implications of my essay claims and how to apply the title across various areas of knowledge. There were many sections of the essay that could have been cut down in wordiness and the ways of knowing required further and more in-depth analysis.
