Kendrick Lamar's newest nickname, introduced on his most recent studio album "Damn.". Featured on songs like "LOYALTY." and in the music video for "DNA.", as well as playing himself as Kung Fu Kenny in a film played before Kendrick performed at Coachella 2017, it looks like Lamar may be going through a martial arts phase.

One of the best (J)Rock bands ever. Formed during their college days in 1996 by Masafumi Gotou, Kensuke Kita, and Takahiro Yamada. Ichiji Kiyoshi joined them a bit later.

They play high octane guitar rock with emo and powerpunk influences. Their strong edgy melodies, adrenaline-drenched guitar and bass, fast-paced drumming, perfectly syncronized with Gotou's amazing vocal talents had gained them numerous amounts of fans and awards(even for music videos, lol). Although it took a couple of years to achieve the popularity that they have gained, Ajikan albums are topping charts, hundreds and thousands of copies of their records have been sold and they are filling magazine racks and displays of music shops all over Japan.

Also, their singles "Rewrite" and "Haruka Kanata," used respectively as the themes to anime series Fullmetal Alchemist and Naruto, have managed to snag Asian Kung-Fu Generation a much deserved international fan base.

Refered to as Ajikan by most fans. You should as well.

Kung Fu Action Jesus

A term for Aang, a character in Avatar: The Last Airbender who is an Eastern Messiah of sorts. Being the Avatar, he is the bridge between the Spirit World and the Human World and the only hope for the salvation of humankind. He is able to manipulate all the elements using bending, which consists of magic blended with Eastern martial art styles, most notably Kung Fu.

The term was coined by GanXingba, a Youtube Artist who has created a parody series of Avatar: The Last Airbender called Avatar: The Abridged Series.

Kung Fu Kenny is a character played by actor Don Cheadle in the acclaimed Rush Hour 2 film, starring Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker. Kung Fu Kenny is an African American male who runs his own Chinese restaurant, which is a front for the illegal gambling activity that he host in the back. It is a clear indication that Kung Fu Kenny is submerged deep into the Chinese culture by his his clothing fashion, being fluent in Mandarin and his Kung Fu skills. 16 years later from the time of the Rush Hour 2 movie, Kung Fu Kenny made a reprisal as the alter ego of music artist, Kendrick Lamar in his new music video, DNA. The music video co-starred Don Cheadle as the detective who held Kung Fu Kenny for questioning under a lie detector test. The scene is a revamped mirror image of the movie, " The Day The Earth Stood Still", starring Keanu Reeves.
