Joybait (v.) — To fake joy or kindness just to get someone’s hopes up. If they fall for it, they got joybaited.

Guy: I love you gng
Dude: that really means a lot, thank you.
Guy: imagine falling for the Joybait 💔

The opposite of ragebaiting. Saying things to get a good reaction out of someone.
