Isled

A term used on Craigslist to denote a posting in a discussion forum that was so vile, so nasty, so rude, so off-topic, or, simply, so freakin' DUMB that it needed to be removed. Such posts are sent to the "Isle of Misfit Threads" in forum 1047.

"Keep posting here, Staff has Isled your posts...soon you'll be missing a handle!"

Belle Isled

Where one party offers another party monetary benefit and/or in-kind benefit and/or free services and/or to fix and rehabilitate a decaying asset that the other party owns or is involved with and is flat-out rejected by that other party for no rational reason whatsoever.

1. The state of Michigan offers the city of Detroit (which also happens to be in and a part of the state of Michigan) millions in annual funding to renovate and operate the city's dilapidated, dying, former jewel of a public park and the city council refuses to allow the state of Michigan to do so. The state of Michigan has been "Belle Isled".

2. A guy offers to fix up his girlfriend's apartment and pay for the entire project himself. His Girlfriend responds with: "I ain't going to let you fix up my apartment. It's my apartment". That guy has been "Belle Isled" by his girlfriend.

Garden Isles

A small waterfront neighborhood located in Pompano Beach, Fl. It is inhabited by GI members, who often enjoy gettin them "thursday seshes". Kids here like to refer to themselves as the GIP, or Garden Isles Posse. They enjoy gettin lifted and fucking shit up around the hood. Looking forward to "Tiki Seshes", inhabitants usually cop large amounts of ganja and other mind altering drugs.

GI usually has the dankest crip in town...

Isles & Glaciers

The best thing since The Sound of Animals Fighting. The future best all-star band of all time! The lineup includes Craig Owens(vocals)from Chiodos/Cinematic Sunrise and Matt Goddard(Bass) from Chiodos, Jonny Craig(Vocals) from old Dance Gavin Dance/Emarosa, Vic Fuentes(Vocals) and Mike Fuentes(Drums) from Pierce the Veil, Nick Martin(Guitar) from Cinematic Sunrise/Underminded, and Brian Southall(guitars) from Recieving End of Sirens. They are yet to release any music, but three songs have leaked on youtube that were played on a radio station. They are called "Clush", "Empty Sighs and Wine", and "Hills Like White Elephants'.

Isles & Glaciers has so much potnetial and needs to put out some damn music now!
