1. A joyous time to rejoice at the end of the year with redundant department store music. Characterized by Santa Klaus, laughter, giving and receiving undesirable gifts, eating pork chops and egg nogg until you are utterly disgusted with yourself and everyone else in your presence.

2. A special time at the end of the year marked by useless kindness which is usually regarded as fake and self interested promises of the next year.

3. A Greco-Italo-Ecuatorian tradition of Biblical proportions, marked by extreme hubris, loss of dignity, and the fall of mankind. While Greeks still dispute this definition, Italians happily claim ownership, along with other disgraceful traditions and arts, including the infamously short lived roccoco art movement.

Doc Holliday 

The real Doc Holliday (1851-1887) was a Georgia dentist who, after a long process with much history in between, became a badass of the western U.S. Most notably, Doc Holliday was responsible for the death of Tom McLaury and possibly others in the Gunfight "at" the O.K. Corral. He and Wyatt Earp, along with Earp's brothers Virgil and Morgan, engaged in a thirty second gunfight in Tombstone, Arizona on 10/26/1881. Three men, Tom McLaury, Frank McLaury, and Billy Clanton were killed. The Earps and Holliday left alive, but in ensuing events, Morgan Earp was shot dead, leading to a vendetta by Wyatt Earp. He was joined by Holliday and the two have become legends of the west.

Their story was featured in several movies, including:

Tombstone, Wyatt Earp, Gunfight at the O.K. Corral.

Holliday died of tuberculosis in Colorado in November, 1887.

Doc Holliday was the most badass gunfighter to ever enter the West.

Hollernation 

Name of elite group of peeps which was originated and is currently seen in the Shire, north side of Chicago. Created by a Sinise Sider who shall remain anonymous.

Stranger #1: Yo, isn't that Hollernation, the cool group from the Shire coming down the street. All they like to do is drink and yell "Holler." They rock!!

Stranger #2: Sure is. Hollernation is the shit!! They tend to get alittle handsey and crux too!!

hollerado

An indie rock band from Manotick, CANADA!, who like nachos, and consist of four band members: Jake, Menno, NIXON, and Dean. On a chilly day in November 2009, they won LiVE 88.5's Big Money Shot. They have recently released their first album entitled Record in a Bag. It is pretty sick. It comes in a bag.

Their unique sound can be classified as in-yo-face-intense-duck-in-the-pond-wasp-in-your-bottle-but-it's-okay-because-it's-dead-and-then-we-all-went-to-a-bar-but-you-know-how-those-silly-roosters-crow-and-it-was-all-a-dream-and-deja-vu-ensued-and-then-a-bunch-of-lions-ran-with-the-herd-and-we-just-sat-and-stared-in-amazement.

A hollerback girl is one that is a booty call and will jump on (meaning to get with) anyone that hollas at her.

holleration 

An excessive amount of yelling or loud-talking, which is usually the result of (or resulting in) a fight, stabbing, killing, or some other physical altercation.

Setting: A fight breaks out at the club. A bouncer comes to break up the fight. Both fighters are yelling to avoid looking like a punk.

Person A to Person B on the sidelines at the club:
There's way too much holleration going on in here. Let's go before somebody starts shooting.
