halfbacker

A person who originated from the Northeastern region of the United States (where it is commonly very cold and overcrowded), moved to Florida (where it is commonly very hot and overcrowded) and subsequently moved half-way back to the Northeast in hopes this unexploited region would provide cheap lobor and moderate weather. It seems their final choice in residence depends heavily on the route they took during their original migration to Florida, as the majority of halfbackers reside within a short drive of I-75, I-24 and I-81. Halfbackers often exhibit distinguishing traits such as the formation of densely populated communities, cultivation of foliage indiginous only to Southern Florida and an ironic nostalgic view of life in both Florida and the Northeast.

It's best not to argue with a halfbacker as they have seen much in their exstensive travels and are likely to be far wiser than you.

2. Someone who only finishes half their objective.

"This car has been half built, looks like we got a halfjack on our hands."

A person originally from the northeastern U.S. who retired to Florida only to later move "half way back" to the southern Appalachian mountains.

A couple of halfbacks bought the old farm on brushy fork. Say they're gonna raise pink flamingos or something like that.

2. A boyfriend never planning a date and leaving all the work to his girlfriend and more commonly referred to as a jackass

3. One who has winterfresh on a daily basis and swallows

EX 1. Paul never planned anything with his girlfriend so he is a halfjack / jackass
EX 2. Paul likes to swallow winterfresh

Halfback

A flight where you fly over your destination to an airport out of the way to change planes and fly to your destination.

Man1:"I am flying from Pittsburgh to Atlanta, then changing planes to fly back northward to Asheville."

Man2: "So your doing a halfback."
