Golid is a combination of the words "gold" and solid. It is used to describe something truly amazing.

(Inspired by the “Xhosa Women are gold diggers” stereotype) ‘Intyatyambo ye Golide’ or ‘uNoGolide’, is a woman with Xhosa heritage (or woman from a xhosa adjacent clan/tribe such as amaMpondo etc.) who takes pride in their Xhosa heritage, who is apart of a larger online community that is centred around the Xhosa experience and culture, alongside womanhood.
They often showcase their solidarity through the act of painting Gold Dots onto their face in a similar fashion to the traditional ‘white face dot’ patterns of the Xhosa people.
(Intyatyambo ye Golide translates to A Golden/Gold Flower, and ‘NoGolide’ simply means the Golden Woman/Woman of Gold/Gold Woman/The one with Gold).

Golide is a handsome boy who will push mountains to make his friends and family happy. They are very loyal and caring people, so you should go get yourself one
