eggbo
noun: a term of endearment used among friends on the early New York Hardcore (punk) scene in the early to mid-1980s, usually preceded by the words "yo, yo".
origin: derived from "Egg Bo" a trademarked breakfast sandwich from "Bojangles of America" Restaurant. The expression likely came into use on road trips to out-of-town punk shows. Hungry band members would spot a roadside Bojangles and shout "YO-YO-EGGBO" indicating a desire to stop for food.
"Yo Yo Eggbo" is also a song by NYHC band "The Psychos" featuring Roger Miret, Billy Psycho, Stu Psycho, et al.

Eggdogism is the religion of following Eggdog, our lord eggdog has given us a few rules to live by
1. No stealing strawberries
2. No disrespecting the eggdog
3. No disrespecting people unfairly (if they deserve it thats different)
4. Eat garlic bred at least once a month
These are just a few of the rules of Eggdogism, the greatest religion. We grow day by day. Join us, in the worship of our lord and savior, Eggdog!

Eggnog
Eggnog, or egg nog, is a sweetened dairy-based beverage traditionally made with milk and/or cream, sugar, and whipped eggs (which gives it a frothy texture). Brandy, rum, whisky, bourbon, Kahlúa, vodka, or a combination of liquors are often added; and the finished serving would be garnished with a sprinkling of ground cinnamon or nutmeg.
Eggnog is a popular drink throughout the United States and Canada, and is usually associated with winter celebrations such as Thanksgiving, Christmas, and the New Year. Commercial non-alcoholic eggnog is typically available only in the winter season. Eggnog may be added as a flavoring to food or drinks such as coffee and tea. Boffin
British slang for a scientist or technical expert, esp . when the speaker is not certain of the expert’s specific field of study. Not necessarily derogatory, but typically used by persons without a technical background. In the US, the equivalent would be “egghead”, “squint”, or “geek.”
Origin of the word is unknown. Started sometime in World War 2. Given the typical evolution of British slang, could easily have started because what these experts did was confusing or “baffling” to the common person.
