double negative statement

A double negative statement is a statement that is redundant, so the result is positive. In other words the statement is an absolute, or no variable conditions.
(- -) = +
(++) = +
An example of a double negative statement is "leave me alone you stupid idiot!"

double negative

The use of two negatives, which cancel each other out.

"a syntactic construction in which two negative words are used in the same clause to express a single negation."

"He didn't say nothing" MEANS- He said something.
"I ain't not never gunna do it" MEANS- I will do it.
"There is not nobody who will go" MEANS- Someone will go.
"I don't want nothing" MEANS- I want something.
"We don't need no education" MEANS- We need education.

If a man did not say nothing, that means he said something.
If a woman does not need NO education, it means that she needs SOME education...

Eli:Yeah well i aint not never gunna get one.

Eli:Huh? wuss tha?
Arlene:You cancelled yourself out, and made like ur GUNNA get a job...lord knows that aint the truth.

A lighthearted reaction upon receiving disappointing news of some sort. Usually something that isn't a particularly a big deal, esp. when it primarily affects someone else - sort of a mild schadenfreude. Sometimes doubled or tripled, and possibly said in a sing-songy voice for added comedic effect to imitate a muted trumpet, which is how the meme originated.

Surf Dracula Syndrome

A phenomenon in film/television series, most notably streaming series, where the main premise is drawn out to such a point that it takes an entire season or more to get the parts of the series the audience is actually interested in seeing.

For example, if a series is titled "Surf Dracula," a majority of viewers would tune in expecting to see Dracula surfing by the first or second episode. However, the entire first season would instead be tedious padding and backstory before finally ending with Dracula surfing in the last five minutes of the season finale.
I watched "Smallville" on Netflix the other day. Dude, it was ten seasons of filler before he finally flew! Major Surf Dracula Syndrome!
