derealization

A feeling caused by anxiety where places that should be familiar seem 'off' in some way. Derealisation (or derealization) extremely hard to describe to someone who has never experienced it before, although if you're here I imagine you're experiencing it right now. It's often described as like a veil has been put over you that dull all your senses and your surroundings, although personally I find it's like everything is too 'vivid'. It normally goes away completely by itself when whoever experiences when they stop thinking about it. See deperonalisation
"I'm experiencing derealization, but the worst part is that I had to put the american spelling"

isla vista derelict

Annoying, nomadic non-student denizens of Isla Vista (IV), near the U.C. Santa Barbara campus; in the late 1970s, held court in IV's famed Dog Shit Park (DSP).
"...that brazen Isla Vista Derelict (IVD) just asked if I wanted to buy nose candy..."

Derelicious

A delicious man whose name starts with a D. He is so amazing that they had to make him the 32nd flavor at Baskin Robins.
"Last night Derelicious Moresex took me around the world and back, all before the check came!"

Guy 1: Are you Derelicious?
Guy 2: Why don't you try me and find out?

Derelique chic

A step beyond hipster style moving towards a vagabond/ homeless look. Disheveled hair, gas station wool caps, mustaches, ripped clothing, oversized jackets...the examples can go on and on. Meanwhile, there is great effort and expense to look like this and frequent the most trending restaurants that have in house djs that spin vinyl funky, soulful house music with $15 craft cocktails. A great city to view this first hand is Detroit during its revival currently
"That guy is rocking the derelique chic look!"
"Could they be transients? Or just derelique? Oh, they are derelique, he's wearing dsquared hightops."
