Working on a paid project while being paid by an employer during the same hours. Usually an 8-5 job. But using ones energy on another paid project and not producing any valuable units for the primary employer.

Person A: I was daylighting, worked all day on my consulting website instead of doing work for my employer 'Z'.

Person B: Sounds like you just doubled your income, but is it ethical? What does employer 'Z' think about it?

Person A: Let me look up ethical on UD. I'll get back to you.

Gaylighting

When someone try’s to infer you are gay even after you have told them you are not. A form of teasing where a friend might constantly imply you are gay for what you do.

Heterosexual Friend 1: Hey did you see the Oscars last night?
Gaylighting Friend 2: No, I’m not gay.

Heterosexual Friend 1: I don’t think that woman is attractive.
Gaylighting Friend 2: That is because you guys are wired differently.

Gaylighting

A specific type of gaslighting. When you know someone is clearly gay, but they're in the closet. Everyone you talk to about it will gaylight you by saying they are clearly straight. Typically this is done to protect the closet person from harassment.

John: I don’t know why Kyle flirts with girls so much. He’s clearly gay.
Mike: No he’s not. He has a wife and kids.
John: You need to stop gaylighting me. I know what you two did last summer.
