Doxlighting

A digitallighting tactic where the release of personal information (doxxing) is combined with gaslighting techniques. The doxxer claims they were “forced” to reveal the information because of the target’s alleged behavior, or they frame the doxxing as “just sharing public info,” while knowing the real effect is terror and isolation. Doxlighting often follows a pattern: provoke, wait for reaction, doxx, then claim the doxx was a justified response to the target’s “harassment.”
Example: “After she ignored his bait for months, he posted her home address with the caption ‘She should be accountable for her actions.’ Doxlighting: releasing private information while pretending to be the victim.”

Person B: Sounds like you just doubled your income, but is it ethical? What does employer 'Z' think about it?
