conclave
A secret meeting, especially one in which the cardinals of the Catholic Church meet to elect a pope. The name is derived from the Latin cum (with) and clavis (key), and implies the fact that the cardinals are locked together in a room until a new pontiff has been chosen.
Yo, the College of Cardinals met for a second day to prepare for the conclave to elect the pope’s successor.
