An abbreviated form of two words: Communication and Research. People within the field of Communication Studies normally are sad and lonely because they just put ridiculous names to things people already know about and do, so they take what they can get.

I'm taking a class in ComRes where the teacher is telling me how to officially create a study into looking at how people talk to each other.

A phrase used by many people as means of justification for an older person doing or saying something typically racist, sexist, or simply insensitive. This is said because these senile people come from a time when Jews were thought of as lesser, being gay was automatic hell in your life, and don't even get me started on being black.
