One of the more obscure Aussie slang terms used in predominantly slapstick situations usually involving alcohol. When your mate goes to the bar to grab the fifth round of drinks and smashes a glass on his way back, yell "TAXI!"

It's a light-hearted, humorous expression which implies that the person who smashed the glass had a little bit too much to drink and needs a taxi/uber/ride home. You can make the situation even funnier by actually chucking your mate in a taxi just for shits and giggles.

Drunk dude *drops a glass*

Everyone in the bar screams in unison: "TAXI"

Is a joint rotation system.
While 2+ people are sharing a joint, one of them may call taxi and so each participant smokes one hit and passes the joint to the next participant (clockwise), he must hold the smoke in his lungs until the joint makes a full round.

The name is derived from the public transportation field.
When riding a taxi the meter always keeps on running

Someone who is a taxi is usually a male who is being used by a girl (but occasionally a guy), and has no balls to say "Am I ever going to get ass, cash, or grass for this?", which leaves him to linger with the thought that one day he just might, allowing girls everywhere to take advantage.
