Chvrches

A synth-pop/alternative trio from Glasgow. Made up of Lauren Mayberry, Iain Cook and Martin Doherty, and one of the finest acts to come out of Scotland.
As of August 2015, they have released one album, The Bones of What You Believe (2013) and too many EPs to name, including the Gun EP. However a new album is expected for September 2015, and it's called Every Open Eye.
They've released a few singles to promote the album, including Never Ending Circles and Leave A Trace.

Working on churches

Mastibation, specifically at one's own home.
Often heard between tradesmen on building sites.
Labourer:"John, how are you getting on with those quoins"?
Bricklayer:"I'd rather be working on churches, Dave"!

churchese

Words that are common within the church setting and are familiar to only those who attend church.
"Jim was speaking in churchese and I had no idea what he meant."

churches

Also known as Kirks, churches are where the christans often go on a Sunday, being the heart of their lord and savior, Jesus Christ. It's also the place where people visit, and also the place to go and watch several people perform musical pieces, like those who are experienced with the piano can play Beethoven's songs, such as Für Elise.
As a verb, it's an abbreviation of the word church.
Mandy: Have you been to atleast 3 churches lately?
Becky: Yea, I have.
Mandy: How good were they?
Becky: Meh...

City of Churches

Very old fashioned name for Brooklyn, NY, referring to the many church steeples that dominated the mostly low rise skyline of Brooklyn when compared to the taller skyscrapers of Manhattan
Brooklyn was known as the city of churches

Stink lines

As seen in illustrations or cartoons: Wavy, vertical lines rising above a person, place or thing. Denotes a foul odor.
"You didn't put enough stink lines on your picture of the teacher."

schmegegge

Yiddish slang word meaning bullshit, baloney, hogwash, nonsense, crock of shit or hot air.
I don't buy the schmegegge about Morty sleeping with Moira.
His version of the story was pure schmegegge.
The whole schmegegge was made up to get Liz a little bit of attention.
