Chaluga is a word used during times of acknowledgment. When the time comes,
the party simply says "CHA-LUU-GAA". This has been commonly said around
the person defined as Michael.
The term is also used without any reason by children in response to adult use. Often used in
exchange of a greeting.
An
individual walks into a room full of individuals, and if a
respectful silence is rendered by the individuals
in the room, the entering party simply says Chaluga "CHA-LUU-GAA", deep, but almost a whisper. Everyone continues on after as usual
