Chiongster

A chiongster is a person who aims to be the best at whatever they do. They always 'chiong' (speed/rush) to the finishing line, beating all their competitors to a pulp. These chiongsters tend to be nerdy.

The term chiongster can also refer to a person who loves the night life. In this case, the chiongster is a party animal who enjoys 'chionging' (partying).

S: Vivienne scored full marks on our last quiz.
K: What a chiongster!

I: I need a drink. Let's party!
S: I'm staying in. I'm a failed chiongster (party animal). I need to become a chiongster at the other end of the spectrum (nerd). Gonna hit the books!

Singlish variant of the Hokkein word, "Rush" or "Hurry up".

Used exclusively in Singapore, it is occasionally heard in Malaysia and Thailand if Singaporeans travel there.

A chingstah is a wanna-be Asian gangster. Kind of similar to a poser. Made famous via the video created by NigaHiga on YouTube, 'I'm a Chingstah'.

Girl: Wow look at that guy. He thinks he's soo amazin.
Girl 2: Ugh, I know, what a chingstah.

Chongs

Chongs is a South Australian colloquialism referring to the scrotum commonly used as an expletive.

"That sucks the chongs!" is used to express that something is bad.

"You suck the chongs" is used as an insult.
