Is used in Italian to mean literally 'fuck'. Is is a vulgar term that refers to putting a key in a lock, and is thus associated with having sex.

Similar to 'chivare' is 'scopare' which means to have sex and also to sweep the floor. Both are vulgar itlan terms for having sex.
