A person, riding in the same golf cart as you, who shares a common interest and participates in achieving a common goal on the golf course.

JT asked Wayne "Do you want to be cartner's at the golf course on Sunday?" Wayne replied "No, Brett and I are going to ride together, so we can drink all your Double Cross and act like children."

Cartner 

This is the person you always choose to ride with when you play golf. ie. Golf tournaments when you have a team of 4 or 6 people, you always know who you will ride or drive with when your "cartner" is in the group. The honor of the title "cartner" is a level above that of a golf partner! Your "Cartner" also knows your handicap, what you like to drink while playing and never lets you leave your wedge on the green.

The Vince Carter Paradox 

When someone or something is repeatedly called overrated to the point that it becomes underrated by proxy.

Vince Carter was an NBA star who played well in his prime, but he had minimal playoff success and he alienated fans when he forced his way out of Toronto. Despite his stats, he never really elevated teams to that next level. As a result, fans often label him as one the most overrated players of all time. People don't appreciate how good of a player he was and he has arguably become underrated as a result.

Guy 1: Everyone I know says Avengers: Endgame was really overrated.
