Brian Shaw
Brian Shaw is a legendary European-American Strongman who has won the World’s Strongest Man title 4-times and the undisputed best in the game. Some even claim that Shaw might be the strongest man to have ever lived. At 6’9” and 470 Pounds, Brian is also massively interested in the history of his sport. TV show or no TV show, he is genuinely fascinated by the stories of strong men who came before him.

Boffin
British slang for a scientist or technical expert, esp . when the speaker is not certain of the expert’s specific field of study. Not necessarily derogatory, but typically used by persons without a technical background. In the US, the equivalent would be “egghead”, “squint”, or “geek.”
Origin of the word is unknown. Started sometime in World War 2. Given the typical evolution of British slang, could easily have started because what these experts did was confusing or “baffling” to the common person.
