Bramah

Excellent. Extremely good, one of the best.

This is not uncommon in England but is most often heard in people who are Cockney, or close to it.
It's never used for some things, but often for others. A cake is never bramah, but the baker who baked it could be. A novel would not be, but its author could be.

Extremely good; the creme de la creme; a real beauty, but not always appropriate for certain things - for example, food can not be described as "bramah". Don't ask me why. This definition seems to be known from SE london area, and from the 50-60's.
