WTF is that?:
a term that usually describes an animated cartoon character
one might interpret it as a portmanteau of "animated" and "entity" or "individual." In that case, an "animatee" could conceptually refer to an entity or individual that is animated or brought to life through some form of animation, whether it be 2D animation, 3D animation, or any other animation technique.
This could include characters in animated films, video games, or other digital media where animation is used to create movement and simulate life-like behavior.
Keep in mind that this is a speculative interpretation, as the term itself is not commonly used in the way described.
