Short for Alaskan Independence Party.
This group of people are part of a movement which calls for Alaska's secession from the Union, and while not discussing independence, will do anything to benefit the state, while blocking EVERY bill that is not related to Alaska.

AKIP's appogee was when they had a seat in both Alaska and New York in the Senate.

AKIP's only purpose is obstruct the Senate.
