In english currency a pound is a quid. squid is the plural of quid, and i dont know why.

A boke owes another bloke six quid. He goes up to this bloke with an octopus with a little tentacle bandadges up, and says, 'hello mate heres the sick squid i owe yu.' Do you see? DO YOU SEE??
