When a beta male listens to the advice of others, usually of the feminine persuasion, that he should take up more household duties, chores, and menial labor from his wife in an effort to help his failing marriage likely plagued by a dead bedroom. What he is expected to implicitly understand by virtue of testosterone is that sexual desire cannot be negotiated. His efforts to put in currency in the form of service will not buy him sex or respect from his woman, despite harmonious reassurance from women of the opposite. Such feminine supplication will in contrast likely accelerate the deterioration of the relationship.
