Obi-Wan

When a character, usually a mentor of some sort, in a movie, novel, comic book, or TV show dies and then comes back as a ghost to continue adding to the story, the same way Obi-Wan did in Star Wars IV.

Just about every Stephen King story has someone pulling an Obi-Wan. Nobody ever stays dead for good. Japanese RPGs too.

When a pupil becomes stronger than their master, realises this, and ousts or overruns their former mentor. In reference to when Anakin Skywalker kills Obi Wan Kenobi in Star Wars.

Derry colloquial, the insult to use when you've run out of anything tactful and the person on the receiving end has already used the "your ma" insult. Generally the same idea as fuck yourself, but not as agressive, and suitable for use when fighting with friends without endangering the friendship forever.
