Anyone that hasn't caught on that it takes about two seconds to make up a definition, and the fact that "wataf" in the dictionary isn't anything to get excited about, and Jimmy hates you all.

Get the dtmb mug.Digital Terrestrial Multimedia Distribution - DTMD is a wireless infrastructure for the delivery of bandwidth and data. It is designed to replicate the capabilities of orbital satellites in a terrestrial setting and at much lower costs. DTMD Access Point is a PoE ( IEEE 802.3 ) device similar to WiFi and Wireless LAN. DTMD operates on the Ku or Ka band. From a head-end facility, bandwidth and data are distributed via a mesh network of Access Points, each emitting about 100mW of power yet covering a range of 60 kilometres or more. Similar to orbital satellites, DTMD requires a line-of-sight to the access points.
As an alternative to orbital satellite communications, DTMD’s Earth-based satellite infrastructure is able to offer similar services, including: Wireless Multi-Channel TV similar to DTH, Broadband Distribution similar to VSAT-based broadband, Satellite News Gathering / Remote Broadcast Coverage, Distance Education, Digital Signage Networks.
