She was born, Asia Vernimo and is from Jacksonville, Florida and she is also a mix of Filipino, Native, African, and Caucasion decent. She is signed to Jive and Hitz Commitee records and has made a f collaborations with well-known rappers, such as, Huey and T-Pain. Most of her well-known songs were tracks from the album, "Cruise Control", which was released in 2008. Although, Asia Cruise made a debut hit with, "Selfish", she receives little or no radio play to the public, even with her natural talent and original displays of musical abilities and potential.

Asia Cruise is an American Solo Artist that is compared to some one having "15 minutes of Fame", because she has only one hit single, which is the 2008 song, "Selfish." Yet, perhaps she just needs to continue releasing or recording more songs, which she does have a few for 2011.
