Fauxcasting is the practice (some would say the art) of creating a revenue or sales forecast to meet some predefined number, rather than actually building it up from assumptions on the market or marketing plan. A fauxcast differs from a forecast in that it attempts to create the future rather than predict it.
Well, engineering missed the ship date, so we're going to have to spend all day updating the sales fauxcast to make the goal without new features.

fauxcation line

When a guy tells a girl that he's taking the summer off from working with some company, when he is actually unemployed.
Duder 1: "What did you tell that fine bitch at the club last night?"

Duder 2: "Oh dude I told her I was taking the summer off from MS."

Duder 1: "Wow dude, you gave her the old fauxcation line? Damn, you better hope she doesn't find out your ass in unemployed and broke son!"

Fauxcest

A) When siblings who don't know they're siblings fall in love

B) When adopted non-related siblings fall in love. Often happens in Korean films or Japanese mangas, but can be seen in American films as well
There's a bit of fauxcest going on in the Dexter series on TV. Dexter's sister Debra has romantic feelings for him (which is actually okay - they're not related by blood)

fauxcasm

Pronounced FO-casm

When someone says something completely retarded and/or stupid and then tries to pass off the statement as being sarcastic, only making them seem even more stupid. Can also be used to mask ignorance/faggotry.

It can be hard to distinguish from actual sarcasm, a good way to tell is if the statement was even remotely funny to begin with, or just plain insensetive.
A: I think 'twin days' at school are just stupid. I think the administration just wants to promote conformity and have everyone be the same.
B: Well, I always I thought it was just a way to spice up school life for a day. It's better than nothing.
A: Yeah, I was, uh.. I was being sarcastic.
B: That there is some pretty straight-up fauxcasm.

C: You did pretty terrible on that Science test, bro. 45%, are you retarded? I mean seriously. How could you have possible failed when the class average was 90%. Dumb shit.
D: Fuck you, my grandma died last night after a week in the hospital with brain cancer, I didn't have enough time to study. What with visiting her in her last few days and all. She didn't even recognize me! *cries*
C: I was being sarcastic.
D: Fuck you and your fauxcasm.

Fauxcation

A Fauxcation (or Faux-cation) is when you are taking vacation days off from work, but definately not doing vaction-like activities (e.g., moving, painting, yard work, etc.). It's like a 'staycation' with a honey do list!
I helped my mother-in-law move in into her reitrement home while I was on fauxcation.

God Shot

A chance happening with profound meaning, an unexpected blessing, a "sign".
Dr. Drew on Celebrity Rehab said "All of a sudden what had been just another Hollywood proposal became for him an unexpected blessing, an opportunity for growth. In drug recovery language, that's called a "God shot."

city chicken

A food native to Pittsburgh/Western Pennsylvania in which cubes of pork and/or veal are put on a short, wooden skewer, breaded, then baked and/or fried.

I've heard that city chicken originated during the Great Depression, when folks didn't have enough money to buy full cuts of meat, so they assembled meat scraps on a wooden skewer, creating a make-shift drumstick. Hence the name.

endwarfins

The rush of neurotransmitters and neuropeptides triggered specifically by watching the Seven Dwarfs march home singing "Heigh-Ho" — that particular high of pickaxes, whistling while you work, and communal domestic bliss in a cottage built for men half your height.
I only meant to watch the Heigh-Ho scene for the endwarfins, and then it was two hours later and I'd watched the whole movie.

Endwarfins aren't just a Snow White thing — I get the same hit off the Lollipop Guild in Oz.
