Hidalgo Mexico
Hidalgo Mexico - State in Mexico, it's capital city is Pachuca de Soto. located in east-central Mexico & is bordered by San Luis Potosí & Veracruz on the north, Puebla on the east, Tlaxcala & State of Mexico on the south & Querétaro on the west.
The state was named after Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla, the Initiator of the Mexican War of Independence.

It is bordered by the Mexican states of Colima & Jalisco to the west & northwest, Guanajuato to the north, Querétaro to the northeast, the State of México to the east, & Guerrero to the southeast.
It is still home to a sizable population of Purépecha people as well as minor populations of Otomi and Nahua. The economy is based on agriculture, ranching, fishing, mining, and the arts. The major tourism draw for the state is the Lake Pátzcuaro–Tzintzuntzan–Quiroga area, which was the center of the Purépecha Empire; as well as the location of the Tzintzuntzan yácata pyramids.
