Words you can keep

workwords

Cheery, professional sounding words that you say in the context of your work role that harbor hostility and aggression that you can’t express outwardly.
Yes, my workwords absolutely do mean “fuck off” when I say “no worries,” or “fuck you” when I am telling you to “have a nice day!”

Bishop Wordsworth's School

A grammar school in Salisbury, Wiltshire which is currently suffering a contagous infestation of Jack Wills whores. It is also rife with wild animals such as a monkey, a walrus and a slug.

Widely hated by chavs and other uneducated scum.

Also known as BWS and Bishop's.
a: I go to Bishop Wordsworth's School.
b: Oh, that explains why you look like a fag.

a: You see that walrus over there?
b: Yes, why?
a: It's why I failed Biology.
A word or phrase that runs through your head repeatedly, much like the musical 'earworm'.
After reading the line 'let's have a little talk about tweetle beetles' from Fox in Socks by Dr Suess, I said to my friend, 'That's going to be my wordworm today.'

Wordyworm

Someone who diverts attention from the core point in an argument by taking offence or paying excessive attention to the individual words used.

It's similar to the strawman fallacy.

This tactic is quite effective in that the person making the original point becomes distracted and usually ends up forgetting or relinquishing their core argument because they end up addressing the wordworm's objections.
Protagonist:, I think you need to understand why I'm feeling a little upset about (insert issue here). Can you allow me to explain?
Wordyworm: What? you're saying I'm stupid? That I don't understand?

They look immaculate in the way they dress and do their hair. This person always gets straight A's without breaking a sweat! Every girl in the neighbourhood will be after him.

Sister: This meeting was to discuss the rough draft of my essay, where we discussed the subsidiary questions I added in my rough draft. We also discussed the relationship between my main title and the real-life situations I chose to use in my essay. We discussed the structure of my essay as well, specifically the Math AOK section and how it relates to the contradiction of the title. This second meeting was particularly helpful in discussing the implications of my essay claims and how to apply the title across various areas of knowledge. There were many sections of the essay that could have been cut down in wordiness and the ways of knowing required further and more in-depth analysis.
