The act of filling in your Outlook with many important people's names just to look busy. Pretending you are busy by adding a lot of meetings to your calendar so that people know you are the smartest, coolest, and most productive man on the team.

(n.) window dressing is the act of disguising a loan by taking money in exchange for the use of a business' asset(s). It shows on the financial statements that the company has both the money AND the asset, making the profits much larger when in reality it has restricted or no use of the asset. The extended definition of money laundering puts window dressing into a legal grey area, whereby it is not perfectly legal, but not illegal enough to build a real case against.

Everyone, from large companies trying to improve their profits, to hustlers on the street wanting extra cash in thier pockets is in to window dressing.

A person, more often than not a female, who dresses slighty slutty, flirts with guys so she can get free drinks, then leaves them with blue balls at the end of the night. This is much like a manequin wearing designer clothing in a store window. You can look at it through the window all you want, but you can never touch it.

"Andy" was hitting it off with "Karla" all night at the local watering hole. She looked fine and seemed so into him, and he even bought her drinks all night. She hinted that they might go back to her place at the end of the night, so he kept buying her drinks. Then she told him she was going to the bathroom and he never saw her again. What a window dresser!
