Trotters

(Of Edgeware, London)

Derived from a Duel Monsters tournament in England, frequented by some of the most arrogant players in the country.

1. A derogatory comment that indicates overconfidence or ineptitude in someone, especially in a game.
2. A state of self-delusion wherein a person believes themselves to be inherently better than others. Usually only occurs when a group of people with this problem congregate, but it has been perpetuated by the Internet.

The tournament has it's own elite group of players that will tell you they are "The Best in the UK", and that "You're all too scared" to play against them, sit down in their presence, or look them in the eye.

The elites are perhaps the biggest group of prats ever.
1. Chris is a right Trotter - all he can do is button bash and boast.
2. Paul has gone all Trotters on us - he thinks he's Superman.

Back when I lived in upstate new york

A meaningless, unimpressive, self-serving introduction. An indicator that the story about to be shared will be pointless and dumb.
Back when I lived in upstate new york, I also had to park on the street - on two occasions, we got enough snow, mixed with just the right plowing, that my car was lifted off the ground from so much snow being jammed underneath it.
